George is an ex-professional and current semi-professional football player, who understands first-hand the volatile and short lived careers in sport. In the beginning of his second professional contract at Brisbane Roar a significant injury greatly impacted his career progress throughout some crucial years. During this time, despite the support of his family, George encountered the financial and career direction pressures that retired professionals commonly faced, although it came a lot sooner than expected.

George describes these moments as very tough to deal with due to the enormous sacrifice made throughout his career, with very little financially to show for it. As George transitioned out of the professional environment he took a major interest in finance, completing his Bachelor of Business and Commerce at Monash University plus qualifying himself as an accredited mortgage broker, in which he has now built a successful level of clientele.

George’s passion and understanding of the industry is centered around helping to educate others and work closely with organisations such as the Professional Footballers Association to assist athletes take control of their future.

Tony has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry as both a Financial Planner and Mortgage Broker. Very early on in his career as a Financial Planner Tony noticed a significant lack of advice and resources around all aspects of lending for home ownership.

This lead him to start up one of Australia’s first mortgage brokering businesses, Victorian Financial Solutions. He has since been enjoying the rewards and challenges of helping people make informed decisions with their money through tailored financial strategies. Tony’s other passion is music having spent many years managing rock bands, making the marriage of money mentoring in sports and entertainment the perfect combination.

Matthew has 30 years of experience in the property industry. His background has been both in agency and valuation practice. He holds an Estate Agents License and is a Certified Practicing Valuer (CPV). He holds memberships with the Australian Property Institute (API) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Matthews previous role was as a director and partner at Opteon, a leading provider of valuation advice which completes over 450,000+ valuations in Australia and New Zealand.
