    George is an ex-professional and current semi-professional football player, who understands first-hand the volatile and short lived careers in sport. In the beginning of his second professional contract at Brisbane Roar a significant injury greatly impacted his career progress throughout some crucial years. During this time, despite the support of his family, George encountered the financial and career direction pressures that retired professionals commonly faced, although it came a lot sooner than expected.

    George describes these moments as very tough to deal with due to the enormous sacrifice made throughout his career, with very little financially to show for it. As George transitioned out of the professional environment he took a major interest in finance, completing his Bachelor of Business and Commerce at Monash University plus qualifying himself as an accredited mortgage broker, in which he has now built a successful level of clientele.

    George’s passion and understanding of the industry is centered around helping to educate others and work closely with organisations such as the Professional Footballers Association to assist athletes take control of their future.
